1. Respect people
Do not harass, bully, threaten, stalk, shame, or encourage harm. Hate speech, slurs, dehumanizing content, and attacks based on protected characteristics are not allowed. Disagreement about training is fine; targeted abuse is not.
Do not sexually exploit anyone or sexualize minors. Any apparent child sexual abuse material or grooming behavior will be removed and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
2. Train safely
- Do not pressure others into movements, loads, stunts, or challenges beyond their ability.
- Do not present dangerous conduct as safe or hide material risks.
- Do not use battles for wagers, material prizes, or proof of professional qualification.
- Automated form feedback and scoring are estimates. Do not claim they are medical clearance, injury diagnosis, or certified judging.
- In an emergency or credible threat of harm, contact local emergency services rather than relying on platform chat.
3. Protect privacy and consent
Post or stream only people you have permission to show or record. Do not share private contact details, home addresses, login information, medical information, intimate media, or other sensitive personal data without clear authorization. Do not attempt to identify an anonymous user or expose someone’s location.
Remember that viewers may capture public or live content even when CaliCombos does not record it. Keep private information out of camera backgrounds and audio.
4. Be authentic and compete fairly
- Do not impersonate another person or mislead people about affiliation, qualifications, or results.
- Submit only your own performance in battles unless a feature clearly allows otherwise.
- Do not manipulate votes, scores, ratings, matchmaking, reports, or engagement.
- Clearly distinguish edited, synthetic, or materially altered media when it could mislead viewers about a performance.
- Do not spam, run scams, solicit credentials, or promote deceptive offers.
5. Keep content appropriate and lawful
Do not upload or link to illegal content, malware, non-consensual intimate imagery, graphic gore intended to shock, sexual content, instructions for serious wrongdoing, or content that infringes copyright, trademark, publicity, or other rights. Fitness clothing and ordinary training footage are allowed when shared in a non-sexual context.
Promotional content must be honest and lawful. Repetitive unsolicited promotion may be removed as spam.
6. Protect the platform
Do not probe for vulnerabilities, bypass access controls, scrape users, overload services, distribute malware, interfere with streams or matches, or use automated accounts without written permission. If you find a security problem, report it privately and do not access or disclose other users’ data.
7. Enforcement
Depending on context, severity, history, and risk, we may remove or restrict content, reduce visibility, mute a user, end a stream or match, revoke features, preserve evidence, suspend or terminate an account, or report conduct to authorities. We may act without advance notice when needed for safety, security, or legal compliance.
Context matters. Educational, documentary, counterspeech, or injury-awareness content may be allowed when it does not create unreasonable risk. These guidelines do not require us to host content that is technically permitted.
If you believe we made a mistake, reply to the enforcement notice or email us with the username, content or match identifier, and a concise explanation.
8. Reporting
Use available in-product moderation tools or email [email protected]. Include links, usernames, timestamps, match or message identifiers, and screenshots when safe to do so. Do not put yourself at risk to collect evidence.
If an intimate image or video of you was shared without consent, including an AI-generated or altered image, use our expedited intimate-content removal process. You do not need a CaliCombos account.
For imminent danger, contact local emergency services. For suspected child exploitation, also contact the appropriate national reporting hotline.
