Remove intimate content

If an intimate image or video of you was shared on CaliCombos without your consent—including a digitally created or altered image—you or an authorized representative can request its removal. You do not need an account.

1. Send a removal request

Email [email protected] with the subject “Intimate Content Removal Request.” Do not attach or resend the intimate image itself unless we specifically ask you to do so through a secure method.

A valid written request must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature. Typing your full legal name at the end of the email is an electronic signature.
  2. Information reasonably sufficient for us to identify and locate the image or video, such as the post, profile, message, stream, or media URL; the uploader’s username; and an approximate date or time.
  3. A brief statement that you have a good-faith belief that the identified content depicts you and was published without your consent, plus any information that can help us determine that it was nonconsensual.
  4. Contact information we can use to reach you or your authorized representative.

An authorized representative should identify the person depicted and explain their authority to act. We may request reasonable verification while taking care not to collect more sensitive information than necessary.

2. What CaliCombos will do

After receiving a valid request, we will remove the reported nonconsensual intimate depiction as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours after receipt. We will also make reasonable efforts to identify and remove known identical copies on CaliCombos within that period.

We will acknowledge the request, assign or provide a reference identifier, and tell you when the content has been removed or explain why the request could not be completed. The 48-hour period begins when we receive a request containing the required information. We may remove clearly prohibited material sooner even if a request is incomplete.

We may preserve limited records needed to document the request, prevent re-upload, protect safety, or comply with law. Removed content will not remain publicly accessible merely because a record is preserved.

3. Other urgent or unlawful content

Use the same email for child sexual abuse material, credible threats, doxxing, trafficking, or other urgent safety issues. Put “URGENT SAFETY REPORT” in the subject line. For imminent danger, contact local emergency services. This process does not replace reporting to law enforcement or a national hotline.

For ordinary harassment, spam, copyright concerns, or Community Guidelines violations that do not involve nonconsensual intimate imagery, use in-product reporting where available or email us with the relevant link and details.

4. Privacy and support

We use request information to locate content, communicate with you, prevent abuse of the process, meet legal obligations, and document compliance. Access is limited to people who need it for the request. See our Privacy Policy.

Support resources include the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children’s Take It Down service for images involving minors and StopNCII.org for adults. These are independent services with their own policies.
